"En Canoa" broadcast from El Chante

On Tuesday June 22 a public meeting was held in the town of Chantepec, better known as El Chante, to publicize the situation that the community is suffering as a result of the construction of several subdivisions that involve a serious risk to the quality of life of the people and to the environment.

"Living Lakes" Photo Exhibit

Amigos del Lago invites the whole community to come to the opening of a special photo exhibit “Living Lakes” on Friday, May 28th at 7 pm at Chapala's City Hall (Av. Madero 202).

The exhibit has the goal of communicating to lakeside residents the reason for the existence of the Living Lakes network and the activities taking place all over the world in favor of lakes and wetlands, resulting in huge benefits to the communities who enjoy them.
